On 90 Day Fiance, it’s mission accomplished for Tigerlily Taylor when she returns to Texas and discovers she’s pregnant after her baby-making trip. Vanja Grbic rebounds quickly with Josko Luketin and the pair plan for the future. Not even cute monkeys can save Sunny Mahdi and Veah Netherton after he insists she convert. And Faith sees a disturbing side of Loren Allen. Let’s break it all down in this recap of Season 7, Episode 17 The Choice.
90 Day Fiance: Tigerlily Taylor is Pregnant
On 90 Day Fiance, Tigerlily Taylor spent a week in Turkey trying to make a baby with hubby Adnan Abdelfattah. The couple also hosted Thanksgiving dinner and spent time with family in between rounds of baby-making. Tigerlily worries because her age window for fertility is closing. The pair head out for some fondue. She expresses her concern. But suggests there are other options if she’s unable to conceive naturally.
Adnan Abdelfattah nods and suggests he could always acquire another wife or two or three if Tigerlily can’t tote an egg. This prompts Tigerlily to suggest the many ways she might kill Adnan if he thinks this is an option. He admits his father married a second wife and it resulted in turmoil during his childhood. As well as a divorce for his parents. So, he really isn’t a fan of polygamy. Which is for the best if he wants to live.
The 90 Day Fiance couple say goodbye again at the airport. Adnan quietly cries but doesn’t let Tigerlily Taylor see. A few weeks later Tigerlily feels some pressure in her abdomen. So she orders up a pregnancy test and walks us through it with her. And alas Tigerlily Taylor is pregnant! She doesn’t want to tell Adnan Abdelfattah over the phone. But rather will wait to see when she can travel again to share the good news in person.
90 Day Fiance: Vanja Grbic Gets a Happy Ending
Vanja Grbic traveled all the way to Croatia to meet her online love Bozo on 90 Day Fiance. After being blatantly rejected by Bozo, she was ready to head home. But fate and Croatian Cupid had other ideas. And Vanja Grbic met Josko Luketin. The pair shared physical chemistry from the jump. But now in just three dates they profess to each other that they want a future together. A romantic night in a jacuzzi on a rooftop lead them to Vanja’s rental bedroom.
In the morning they cuddle and rave about their first night together. Even though they didn’t consummate the relationship. They hike to the top of a mountain. Josko tells Vanja she’s the one. And she would be an amazing mother to his foster son who he hopes to adopt. Vanja cries since she’s been hurt before by a relationship ending that involved a child. But after wishing to be together by touching a giant gold toe on a statue, Vanja Grbic and Josko Luketin commit to giving the long-distance relationship a try.
TLC Couple Sunny Mahdi and Veah Netherton Struggle
Sunny Mahdi plans a trip to a beautiful resort with Veah Netherton. The 90 Day Fiance couple have struggled since she arrived. Mostly due to the influence of others. Namely Veah’s ex-boyfriend Rory. With Rory gone, Sunny’s dad stepped in to create conflict. He was critical of Veah’s tattoos and suggested she must convert to Islam. Sunny wants the trip to take their mind off these struggles but he’s hiding the truth from Veah.
Sunny actually agrees that Veah must convert. He vows his Muslim religion is important to him. Even if he bends the rules when it suits him. The couple enjoy gawking at monkeys on their patio. And take in a cool dancing performance at the resort. But Sunny drops the bomb at dinner that Veah must convert if they are to have a future together. Veah is triggered and tells him she won’t do it. And Sunny runs off yet again while she chases after him.
90 Day Fiance: Loren Allen Shows a Dark Side
On 90 Day Fiance, Loren Allen and Faith are engaged. But Loren has to return to the United States the next day. They seek the counsel of an immigration lawyer to see if there is a way to quickly legally marry so he doesn’t have to leave. But the news isn’t good. A plan to go to Thailand and marry won’t pan out. Since same sex marriage isn’t legal there. Faith isn’t cool with Loren’s suggestion of marrying her mom. So, the best option is a good old k-1 visa and for Faith to go to America with him.
While Faith finds this appealing, Loren is crushed. He admits flat out that he’s so broke he can’t afford rent. And therefore couldn’t support Faith in the United States. Nonetheless they head to a planned rendezvous at a nice hotel. And Faith is ready to take things to the next level. Until Loren starts acting like a lunatic and smashing beer cans on his head. As well as stabbing himself with a butter knife. Faith becomes uncomfortable, drops the ring on the table and gets the heck out of there. Run Faith run!
Before The 90 Days: Joe Coan Meets Magda’s Mom
Joe Coan does all the right things or so he thinks before meeting Magda Szlachta‘s mom on 90 Day Fiance. He buys a bouquet of flowers and a selection of her favorite desserts. Her mom is cold at first in spite of his efforts. It’s revealed that she has doubts about Joe because Magda told her Joe slept with another girl after they started talking. Joe doesn’t understand why Magda told her mom about his indiscretion. She says her mom is her best friend and she confides in her about everything.’
Joe is able to sweet talk his way out of being judged with the help of his phone translator. Magda’s mom softens and wishes the best for the couple who intend to live in America. Later Magda and Joe play volleyball with locals. Joe questions why she pays with men sometimes. She does play with men on occasion. But admits she won’t play with any exes since she doesn’t believe in exes being friends. Meanwhile Joe is still good friends with an ex and hasn’t revealed that to Magda. Till next time!
