Jen says that her husband tried to wake the older man, but he never woke up. Hope has been by her husband Bo Brady’s side since the shooting. However, she must leave Europe to gather with her bonus mom, Julie Williams, her children, Shawn Brady and Ciara Brady Weston, and the rest of the Horton clan. Days of our Lives Spoilers: Hope Williams Brady Receives Heartbreaking Phone Call
DOOL spoilers report that Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) gets a shocking phone call. Her cousin and best friend Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) sadly informs her that her Daddy, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), has passed away. Further, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) discovered him dead when he couldn’t wake him up.
Of course, Hope is devastated. She was very close with her Daddy on Days of our Lives. The two had a special Daddy/Daughter relationship. He was her rock throughout her whole life. What will she do without him? Hope crumbles on the phone with Jennifer and vows to come home to Salem.
However, it may be difficult for Hope Williams Brady to leave her husband’s side on DOOL. Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) has been in a prolonged coma after their son, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), shot him. Of course, it was all a mistake. Yet, she waits by Bo’s bedside as he recovers in a European hospital. She knows she needs to get home to her family ASAP. Her stepmother, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), needs her there. She needs to get home to Salem ASAP.
Days Spoilers: Will Hope Make it Home for Daddy Doug’s Memorial?
Days of our Lives spoilers indicated that the grieving woman could have difficulty returning to Salem in time for her dad Doug’s funeral. Not only does an ocean separate her from her hometown, but she has been holding vigil by Bo’s hospital bed. However, she knows she must get back to Salem.
Of course, she worries that Bo may wake up from his coma while she’s gone. So she could wait until the last minute to book a flight back to Salem. DOOL fans wonder if Hope Williams Brady will have trouble with the weather or making her connecting flights. It’s a long way home for Hope.
Additionally, Hope’s portrayer, Kristian Alfonso, hinted in a recent interview that her character has a challenging time leaving Europe to make it home for her Daddy’s memorial service on Days of our Lives. Yet, regardless of if she makes the service on time, Doug’s daughter will be back in Salem next week to mourn with her family.

Hope, Ciara, and Shawn will lean on each other. DOOLÂ viewers know what a tight-knit family they are. Doug Williams was a doting father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. They will support each other, Julie, and the rest of their Horton family through the sad holiday season.
