Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Forrester Takes Aim
Bold and the Beautiful left Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) seething last week when learning about his best friend’s plan to take over Forrester Creations. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) ran right to Ridge after eavesdropping on her daughter and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
So far, it looks like Brooke informing Ridge of a coup in the works alienated her from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Brooke Logan put her daughter in Ridge Forrester’s scope, but Hope is not the only one he aims at next week. This Logan sister may soon discover that the dressmaker also aims at her with his latest ploy.
Ridge isn’t going down without a fight, and the Bold and the Beautiful preview indicates he has a serious battle on his hands. What Carter did isn’t easily undone, or at least that’s what Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) suggests to Ridge next week.
B&B Spoilers: Ridge Pushes Brooke Logan Away
Bold and the Beautiful had Ridge Forrester offer Carter Walton a second chance last week after beckoning him to his office. But this came with a contingency that Carter will likely turn down. The dressmaker wants his best friend to drop Hope Logan like a hot potato.
Ridge now believes Hope got into the COO’s head. And he boasts that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) predicted this. But Carter doesn’t take kindly to his best friend slamming Hope.
So, Carter likely refuses that second chance he was offered. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Ridge, Steffy, Justin, and Eric Forrester (John McCook) scrambling to put a stop to the takeover next week.
But Bold and the Beautiful spoilers also suggest Ridge continues to hold Brooke’s daughter responsible for this coup. And his actions likely start to push Brooke away from him. The Logan matriarch likely worries about losing the man she calls her destiny over this, especially with his ex hanging around.
Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke’s Worries About Her Rival
Bold and the Beautiful has Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) becoming a fixture at Forrester Creations. But Brooke Logan believes her rival’s true agenda is to get back with Ridge. So, if Brooke had talked to Hope before going to the dressmaker with what she overheard, she might have pushed him in Taylor’s direction.
Brooke can’t afford to look like she is on her daughter’s side in this takeover attempt. So, going to Ridge Forrester before confronting her daughter, she demonstrated her loyalty to the man she hopes to marry again one day.
But Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest this makes no difference. Next week, between Ridge’s fury toward Hope and his suspicions about Brooke possibly standing behind her daughter, this likely starts to rip this couple apart. B&B threw out hints that Ridge Forrester has some disparaging words to say about Brooke’s daughter, which gets the Logan matriarch’s dander up.
Brooke will continue defending her daughter next week. She remains adamant that this would not have happened if Steffy Forrester hadn’t fired Hope Logan. But Ridge Forrester won’t hear any of that.
Plus, with Taylor making an appearance almost daily at FC, she likely has some raw words for Brooke Logan as well. So, next week, it looks like Brooke Logan’s faithful deed of going to Ridge Forrester with what she overheard from her daughter comes back to bite her hard on the CBS soap.
