Denver Broncos To Debut New White Helmets, Navy Blue Alternate Jerseys On Monday Night Football – SportsLogos.Net News

Must read

The Denver Broncos will debut their new white helmets and navy blue alternate jerseys during their Monday Night Football matchup with the Cleveland Browns, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The Broncos wore navy blue jerseys as their primary home look from 1997 until they were relegated to alternate status in 2012, when the franchise decided to wear orange jerseys for most home games instead.

The navy blue jerseys were paired with Denver’s standard navy blue helmets during those seasons, but following the unveiling of a new “Mile High” uniform set this offseason, they’ll now be worn with white helmets.

The Broncos introduced white helmets to the rotation last season, but they featured a vintage logo on the sides to match their old Color Rush uniforms. They now match their new navy blue helmets, with their primary logo on the sides and a truncated stripe down the middle.

The uniforms, which feature a mountain-like design on the sleeves and perforated triangles in the numbers, will be complete with navy blue pants and socks, though the Broncos also have white and orange pants at their disposal for future iterations.

That said, this will mark the only appearance for the white helmets and blue jerseys this season, as teams are permitted to wear their alternate or classic uniforms three times each season, and the Broncos already wore their “Orange Crush” throwback uniforms in a 34-18 win over the Raiders on Oct. 13 and are scheduled to wear them again against the Kansas City Chiefs on Jan. 5.

The Browns, meanwhile, were initially scheduled to wear their 1946 throwback uniforms this evening, but made a last-minute change to their standard orange helmets, white road jerseys and orange pants.
