Must read

Caleb Williams has launched 888 Midas Investment Firm before his rookie NFL season. Upon his entry into the National Football League, the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft has not wasted time going into the finance and investment industry.

Williams, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, is listed as a partner alongside Ross Walker, a managing partner at Beverly Hills-based Hawkins Way Capital.

All about Caleb Williams’ investment firm, 888 Midas

Speaking on the 888 Midas’ goals, Williams said in a press release,

“I always planned on being both an athlete and a businessman. As I’ve reached many of my athletic goals and dreams, multiple business opportunities have also surfaced. Athletes are often inundated with and distracted by these opportunities.” (via the Business Wire)

He continued,

“To eliminate the potential for distraction, it was important to me to immediately set up a business operation with established, trusted partners and advisors I’ve known for years.”

As previously stated, Caleb Williams has brought Hawkins Way Capital managing partner Ross Walker on board as a business partner. According to Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times, Hawkins Way initially signed an agreement with Williams in 2022.

Furthermore, according to Yahoo Finance, Caleb Williams has a dream team of partners and advisors in 888 Midas. The team comprises of:

  • John Terzian, Co-Founder and Co-President of The h.wood Group
  • Lew Wolff, Chairman of Wolff Urban
  • Ross Walker, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Hawkins Way Capital
  • Sherif Guirgis, former Managing Director at Main Street Advisors

888 Midas was created as an investment and strategic business advisory enterprise targeting like-minded organizations and select private equity, venture capital and real estate funding goals.

What to expect from Caleb Williams in his rookie NFL season

Caleb Williams enters the NFL as one of the most hyped prospects in recent years. It’s been a while since the Draft has had a consensus number-one pick, and Williams was certainly the prize in 2024.

Williams joins a Chicago Bears side that finished with a 7-10 record in 2024 and missed the postseason. The team has since added some decent offensive weapons to provide Williams with the right playing personnel to thrive in 2024.

Hence, Williams is expected to give a decent showing in his rookie season. It would be surprising if he doesn’t at least demonstrate his All-Pro potential, with expectations leaning towards a campaign more similar to C.J. Stroud’s rather than Bryce Young’s.
