On August 13, popular influencer, Christine Tran Ferguson shared that she and her husband, Ryan Ferguson are expecting their second baby through an Instagram reel. The couple can be seen standing side by side, with the picture of their late son, Asher in the back.
The couple then show the pictures of Christine’s ultrasound, revealing that their “baby number 2” is coming soon. Christine stated in the caption:
“Baby number 2 coming soon.. It’s been such a hard journey getting here & really hard to navigate but we’re so blessed to be welcoming baby number 2. Our hearts are torn with being grateful and also incredibly sad and missing Asher so much. You are so missed each and every day.”
The news about her pregnancy comes one year after the couple’s 15-month-old son, Asher tragically passed away. As per People Magazine, Christine’s first child, Asher passed away in July 2023, however, the parents have not disclosed the reason behind the traumatic event.

Christine Tran Ferguson excitedly announced that she’s expecting her second child after the tragic loss of her 15-month-old son. Despite their joy, Christine and her partner previously shared the challenges they faced with their first child, Asher, who had a traumatic birth.
In an Instagram post, Christine had revealed:
“The doctor told us he had the cord around his neck so when the contractions happened it would tighten around his neck which led to his heart rate dropping. I’m just so glad our amazing doctors delivered him safely. It was a while before I got to finally hold him once I was in the recovery room. I couldn’t believe it, he’s FINALLY HERE in my arms! I feel so blessed and lucky to be your mother and understand what everyone has told me. There is no love like this.”
After Asher’s demise, Christine Tran Ferguson was very vocal about her grief and often shared the same on social media with her followers. In April, this year, she also uploaded a family picture stating how it could have been Asher’s second birthday with the family.
Furthermore, Christine Tran Ferguson again posted another picture of Asher in June, this year, expressing how it has been a tumultuous year for the couple. She wrote on Instagram:
“How are we approaching a year without you. We would have had so many more memories together and now I replay these memories over and over in my head instead.”
