Four-star Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian quarterback Peyton Houston has quickly made a name for himself in the 2027 cycle.
Not only is Houston standing out on the field, but also in the NIL atmosphere.
As Louisiana is a state that allows high school athletes to benefit from NIL, Houston has had the opportunity to ink a handful of deals with companies around the country.
His most recent deal — which he used to benefit his teammates — comes from Oofos, a footwear brand that offers recovery slides designed for not just athletes, but anyone seeking ‘Active Recovery’.
Houston made the announcement to Evangel Christian teammates himself last week.
While gifting the shoes, Houston expressed his gratitude and love to the entire team.
“Pastor Denny (Duron) earlier this year spoke on love, so I thought right then and there it was just a great time to show how much I really love my teammates and was able to give them some slides.”
This is the second deal from Houston that has garnered national attention.
In May, it was announced that Houston had signed a multi-year exclusive trading card deal with Leaf Trading Cards. The sophomore standout’s first trading cards have since become available for purchase.
Houston is represented by IFA (Institute For Athletes).
