Today marks the long-awaited return of college football video games, as the deluxe edition of EA Sports’ College Football 25 will be released at 4 p.m. ET.
In the lead up to the release, several athletes and streamers promoted the game online by sharing videos of head-to-head gameplay, dynasty mode and Road to Glory.
Others, like YouTuber Eric Rayweather, shared a 43-minute video that shows every team’s uniform combination in the beta version of the game.
While the game includes almost every new uniform that was unveiled this offseason, we noticed that Appalachian State’s new set wasn’t featured in the video.
Oregon’s new “Generation O” uniforms also won’t be available in the game at launch, but will be patched in once all five designs are revealed in the coming weeks.
Now, it’s worth noting again that this was only the beta version of the game, and some additional uniform options may be included in the full version released today.
Sources have indicated there will also be additional uniforms added to the game throughout the course of the season as downloadable content, which is where alternates like Tennessee’s Smokey Grey and West Virginia coal-inspired sets could make an appearance.
