Bold and the Beautiful has Steffy Forrester ruining Hope Logan‘s career, but it looks like Eric Forrester discovers this runs much deeper than rivalry for his granddaughter on the CBS soap. Steffy told Brooke Logan that she would not play matchmaker when her mother arrived in town unexpectedly. So, as far as everyone sees it, she kept her word. But did she?

Bold and the Beautiful has Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pushing her weight around Forrester Creations. So, next week, the spoilers suggest Eric Forrester (John McCook) asks his granddaughter to put the brakes on her power plays.
But it sounds like this does nothing to change her mind. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is gone from FC. And, it seems her stepsister plans to keep it that way. Eric hears about Steffy’s personal issues getting in the way of her making solid business decisions. A few people step up and mention this next week.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers also suggest that Eric sees something else, which points him in another direction. It seems Eric Forrester suspects that his granddaughter’s recent antics weren’t only about Hope.
B&B Spoilers: Hope Logan Couldn’t Get a Word In Edgewise
Even before Steffy Forrester walked in on Hope Logan in lingerie stumbling into Finn, she wouldn’t let the topic go. It was like the co-CEO gave Hope a daily reminder that she needed to stay away from John Finnegan (Tanner Nolan).
Then, Hope found herself on top of Finn in an accidental stumble. Perfect timing allowed Steffy to catch an eyeful when she walked in on this. But Steffy Forrester wasn’t as animated as you might expect when reprimanding Hope for allegedly coming on to her husband again.
And she wasn’t interested in hearing Hope’s excuse. Instead, it was like the Forrester daughter was relieved that it finally came to this point. So, in a rather robotic-like tone, she reminded Hope that she warned her what would happen if she went near Finn again. At one point she stood there saying “Shame on you” like a mother might reprimand a young child.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Granddaughter Answers to Her Grandfather
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Eric Forrester beckoning Steffy Forrester at the end of next week. This is when he requests that Steffy reconsider the firing of Hope Logan. But it sounds like she won’t budge. Still, something happens next week and spoilers suggest that this opens Eric’s eyes. He soon sees the entire picture of his granddaughter’s controversial dealings.
B&B spoilers also indicate that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) stands behind Steffy. So, his marriage is in trouble. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) goes to bat for her daughter. And as you would expect, Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) stand behind Steffy.
Eric will be privy to how both Ridge and Brooke feel about this. So, it is as if he has a front-row seat to their relationship declining. Eric Forrester loves Taylor Hayes. But he also adores Brooke, and he believes the Logan matriarch is his son’s destiny. This is something he told Ridge a few times recently on Bold and the Beautiful.
B&B Spoilers: Eric Sees Hope Logan as Collateral Damage in Steffy’s Ploy
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint at something happening next week that makes Eric realize Steffy is just using Hope. His granddaughter knows if Hope is fired, then Ridge and Brooke will be at odds. Taylor suffers from broken heart syndrome, and her daughter knows it is Ridge who put her mother in that condition.
So, what if Eric finds Steffy did play matchmaker, but not blatantly enough for others to notice? He would be livid that she tangled with her father’s life, but that she also disrupted the family business by doing so.
So, by firing Hope Logan, Steffy knew what this would do to her father and Brooke’s relationship. Then if Eric Forrester finds out that his granddaughter’s end goal was to break up her father and Brooke, then he will likely be livid. And, if this really was Steffy Forrester’s way of getting her dad away from Brooke, well from what the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest for next week, it worked.
Manipulating the cards for Hope Logan to get ousted as her goal will produce a ripple effect next week. So, Steffy Forrester may very well set out with her mother and father’s future in mind when firing Hope Logan on the CBS soap.
