Colorado Buffaloes’ New Football Jerseys Leaked By CTESPN – SportsLogos.Net News

Must read

Last November, Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders said the Buffaloes would unveil new uniforms ahead of the 2024 season.

It’s long overdue, too, as Colorado has worn its current design since 2015 and is the last power conference program to be outfitted in Nike’s Speed Machine template.

That said, we got our first glimpse of the Buffaloes’ new jerseys over the weekend thanks to former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, whose social media network shared the following screenshot:

This, of course, is from a digital retail catalog – the same way CTESPN leaked the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans’ new jerseys, as well as the New York Giants “Century Red” throwback and Minnesota Vikings’ “Winter Warrior” alternate jerseys.

As for Colorado’s leaked design, it notably features Boulder’s iconic Flatirons – a rock formation with five jagged peaks that sits southwest of Folsom Field – on the sleeve caps.

It also carries over the Buffaloes’ current wordmark and number font, although the digits are now gold with a white stroke instead of white with a gold stroke like their previous black jerseys.

The jerseys are complete with an interlocking “CU” at the base of the collar and a gold Nike Swoosh, just like their predecessor, though they no longer have contrasting gold sleeve cuffs.

This will make Colorado the third team this offseason to unveil new uniforms with mountains on the sleeves, joining the Broncos and Wyoming Cowboys, who revealed an alternate inspired by the Cathedral Group at Grand Teton National Park.

Assuming these are their standard home jerseys and not alternates, the Buffaloes will debut their new look when they host North Dakota State on Aug. 29 (8 p.m. ET on ESPN).
