Just days after announcing two new promotions to EVP roles, Concord Label Group, the recorded music division of Concord, has revealed two new appointments.
Both of the new hires are in streaming and data analysis – and both are new arrivals from Universal Music Group (UMG).
Brad Clark has been appointed Senior Vice President of Streaming and Data Analysis. He had previously been VP, Data Analytics and Strategy, at Universal Music Group Nashville.
Kristen Reed joins Concord Label Group as Vice President of Data Analytics and Research, fresh from a nearly four-year stint as Director, Data Analytics & Research at UMG in Nashville.
Both will remain in Nashville in their new positions, working out of Concord’s HQ in the city. Reed will report to Clark, and Clark will report to the CEO of Concord Label Group, Tom Becci.
“I am excited to have Brad and Kristen join the team. Brad has worked with artists at all stages of their career from the releasing of their first song to some of the biggest stadium acts in the industry. He has developed a unique understanding of how to translate data into real-world advancement for an artist’s career,” Becci said in a statement.
“Kristen’s ability to employ data to guide the promotion of an artist is incredible. As Concord Label Group continues to grow at an increasingly rapid pace, it is vital that we maintain our competitive edge and ensure our artists are reaching as wide an audience as possible. In the era of streaming, this means a global, data-driven approach, and I know that Brad and Kristen are extremely well-suited to build upon the framework that we’ve established.”

Clark had spent more than 20 years at UMG, having started out as new media manager at Capitol Records before moving on to director-level roles in marketing & artist development, and sales and analysis. He served as VP, Commercial Development before taking the VP, Data Analytics and Strategy role.
Clark led projects for artists such as Chris Stapleton, Darius Rucker, Eric Church, Lady A, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt, and worked on four of the nine country music songs certified Diamond by the RIAA.
“For me, the biggest thrill is to help an artist go from relative obscurity to realizing their dreams,” Clark said in a statement.
“My career was formed around strong teams and supporting great artistry and Concord has built such an excellent, artist-centric company that this move felt like a natural next step.”
Reed, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, joined UMG in 2018 as a financial analyst, and went on to serve as a senior financial analyst before taking the role of Director, Data Analytics and Research.
“Music in general fuels me, and, as someone who tends to speak in numbers, it is a real gift to be able to use that ability to help artists bring music to the world,” Reed said.
“Concord has such an incredible roster and team, and I’m delighted to dive in.”

Kristen Reed, Concord Label Group
The announcement of Clark and Reed’s hiring comes two days after Concord Label Group revealed it had promoted Jill Weindorf to Executive of Marketing, and Joe Dent to Executive Vice President of Operations.
Both will report to Becci, who himself was brought in last year to the newly created role of Concord Label Group Chief Executive.
Concord Label Group manages eight labels, among them Fearless Records, Loma Vista Recordings, PULSE Records, and Concord Records, as well as a slate of historical labels.
Concord’s master recording portfolio contains more than 275,000 song recordings, and includes some 300 Grammy winners, which the company boasts amounts to 6.6% of all Grammys ever awarded.Music Business Worldwide
