Fans amused as Dodgers star serves fans food to celebrate World Series win

Must read

Kiké Hernández has now captured two World Series rings, both with the Los Angeles Dodgers. While many players celebrate that accomplishment with a vacation or spending time with their families, Herandez has taken a different route.

The slugger recently spent the day becoming an employee at Raisin Cane’s. He worked the grill for a bit and the drive-thru, which ended up drawing a huge crowd.

This is the same Raising Cane’s location where Mookie Betts also worked a shift before the season kicked off. It was a fun moment for fans as they had an opportunity to talk to the slugger.

His shift made headlines as plenty of fans surrounded the restaurant to get a chance to see the star. Other fans were quick to react to the situation on social media.

“Are they paying him minimum wage?” one fan asked.

“Maybe he should run for President” said another.

“Main character energy” said another.

Fans enjoyed learning that Kiké Hernández took a shift at Raisin Cane’s. While technology has made it easier, it is not often that you get to interact with professional athletes outside of their sport.

“Oh wow. I would have passed out” said another.

“Best day ever!” said another.

“I would literally not be able to speak” said another.

While Hernandez made headlines, he was not the only Dodgers player interacting with fans following the World Series win. Walker Buehler showed up at Dick’s Sporting Goods recently to sign autographs and talk with the fans.

Kiké Hernández is a free agent for the 2025 season. The Dodgers utilityman is one of several players that L.A. could lose this winter, alongside Teoscar Hernandez, Blake Treinen, Clayton Kershaw, Joe Kelly, Walker Buehler, and Jack Flaherty.

However, Hernandez wants to remain in L.A. He said this during his shift at Raisin Cane’s when asked about his future.

“I would love to be back” said Hernandez.

Hernandez would be a player who would not break the bank, although the club has the money to dish out. Some insiders see the club re-signing him this winter.

There are not many players that can handle various positions like Hernandez can. In 2024, he played seven different positions, including being used as a pitcher. So, expect the Dodgers to give him an offer at some point.
