Mercedes Mone has revealed her bold new look, and she admitted that it was inspired by a current WWE star. The fans will definitely cook up some theories about this.
Mone, who is AEW’s current TBS Champion, experiments a lot with her style and fashion and is known to be a fashionista in her own right. She gave a shout-out to WWE Superstar Cora Jade on one of her recent livestreams.
Mone was showing off her new hairstyle, and that is when she said:
“You guys like my hair? I think I got some Cora Jade action going on.”
Despite working for different companies, many wrestling stars are still very good friends, and this just proves that Mercedes Mone is on good terms with Cora Jade.
Mercedes Mone reveals Bryan Danielson’s reaction to memorable match
Mercedes Mone found plenty of success in WWE, and despite how her time ended there, she competed in many memorable matches. One of them was when she defended her SmackDown Women’s Title against Carmella in December 2020.
The AEW star went on to win that match, and she has now revealed how Bryan Danielson came up to her afterward to show his appreciation. She spoke about this in the recent edition of the Mone Mag:
“The feedback we received after that match was overwhelming. Bryan Danielson came up to me afterward and told me how much he enjoyed it. Hearing praise from someone with his caliber meant the world to me. Backstage, everyone was talking about our performance, and it felt amazing to know that we had made an impact. Working with Carmella was everything I hoped it would be and more. It’s funny how the universe works, bringing us together when the timing was just right. I can’t wait to see where our paths lead us next, but I’ll always cherish those moments we finally got to share in the ring.”
It will be interesting to see if Mone will ever have another chance to work with Carmella.
