MJF has offered a popular AEW babyface a rematch at All In 2024 in August. However, that immediately came with a twist.
The babyface in question is none other than Daniel Garcia. The 25-year-old has been riding a wave of momentum since last year’s Continental Classic tournament. He was saved by Maxwell last week from the hands of Brian Cage, Hechicero, and the Gates of Agony.
On tonight’s edition of Dynamite, Garcia came out as MJF was addressing the Buffalo crowd and publicly thanked him. The former AEW World Champion then returned the favor by thanking him back and said that he wants to give him a rematch at All In 2024.
Garcia last faced MJF in a losing effort in November 2023 for the AEW World Championship. However, before Garcia could say anything about the challenge, out came Will Ospreay, much to the disdain of Maxwell. The Aerial Assassin claimed that he likes Garcia and that next week, he will put both the International and World titles on the line if he’s able to win the latter from Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door.
Daniel Garcia was pumped about it, and his focus will now be on getting himself ready to take on Ospreay next week.
