A recent AEW signing revealed earlier today that they were officially added to the promotion’s roster page. This comes two weeks after they revealed that they had signed with them. This would be Alicia Atout.
Two weeks ago, the Canadian interviewed Mark Briscoe backstage, which prompted questions as to whether this was a one-time thing, or she had signed full-time with the promotion. She then revealed later that night that she had indeed signed with the company. Last week, she even appeared in a segment with her real-life boyfriend MJF that took place before the show.
On Twitter, Alicia Atout posted a render of her photo on AEW’s roster page, as she revealed that she was officially added to this. She now joins the promotion’s broadcast team, joining the likes of Renee Paquette, Lexy Nair, Alex Marvez, and Arkady Aura as backstage interviewers on the promotion.
What happened between Alicia Atout and MJF during their interaction before AEW Dynamite last week?
Following her signing with All Elite Wrestling, many have wondered how the first on-screen interaction between real-life couple Alicia Atout and MJF would go, and it did not disappoint.
Last week, before the show started, Atout was in front of the venue in hopes of looking to interview the stars who were coming in for the show. She then ran into Friedman who was not scheduled for the show, so she had to get the latest scoop.
He referred to her by a nickname he had given her years ago, before going on to say that she should just watch the show to know why he was around. He then had a quick comment about him wanting her to change what she was wearing before abruptly leaving.
She took to Twitter to express that she was annoyed at him following their interaction, and she told him off.
“Why are you like this? @The_MJF,” Atout wrote.
Now that Alicia Atout has signed with AEW, fans can expect more of such moments to come, with her being a great addition to the broadcast team.
