Sister Wives star Janelle Brown did something in real-time that likely has Kody Brown green with envy and maybe even red with anger, as these TLC stars pave a new future road. The Coyote Pass dream seemed to mean more to some of Kody’s wives than others.
Janelle was a wife who was ready to dig in. She became so motivated to live there that she planked down a trailer on the land as her home during the summer months. She had greenhouses in mind for year-round growing as part of her plan. But that dream won’t materialize and from the looks of things, she’s having a hard time getting her fair share financially out of the land.

Sister Wives star Janelle Brown knows Kody Brown can do the math, but something holds him back. In Sunday night’s episode, he admits Robyn Brown doesn’t want to sell the property.
Fans find the excuse Kody Brown gives rather insipid. He said that Robyn sees what could have been on the land and doesn’t want to sell it, as the dream goes with it if sold. So, from the way Kody explains it, Coyote Pass has become a shrine for him and Robyn on how things could have been. But that doesn’t help Janelle Brown or Meri Brown.
Despite making things clear that the sale needs to happen for Janelle and Meri to get what’s owed to them, the land sits. Christine Brown sold her Flagstaff home and kept the proceeds from that. In exchange, she signed her piece of Coyote Pass over to Kody and Robyn. So, Kody, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri own the land now often seen still sitting vacant on the Sister Wives series.
Meri Brown and Janelle Brown contributed to the family finances. So, they believe the split should be four ways. But instead, Kody and Robyn seem to think they should get a bigger share. They offered Meri only two acres of the land. So, for Janelle and Meri to get their fair share, they sought legal advice.
Janelle One-Ups Coyote Pass
Sister Wives celebrity, Janelle Brown, won’t let Kody’s awful math stop her. She recently posted a video of the farm that she, Maddie Brown Brush, and Caleb Brush purchased in North Carolina. It is called Taeda Farm. Janelle can’t say enough about loving her new community. They spent a day recently watching a local contractor clear the land on her farm.
Janelle tells her followers, that the contractor’s name is Earl Brock. He cleared the land for their gardens, chicken coops, and future home. So, who needs the Coyote Pass land when Janelle fulfills the dream she started? And her plans are without Kody Brown and his Sister Wives’ brides. So, she’s in charge this time around.
Sister Wives: Kody Turns Several Shades of Red and Green?
If you think about it, the Sister Wives patriarch’s dreams for Coyote Pass have crumbled. But Janelle Brown traded up, and she is now in the process of creating her version of what Kody dangled over the family’s head for years.
Now with Janelle building something with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, she is living the dream Kody once had. So, Sister Wives fans imagine Kody is not only green with envy but probably a bit red-faced with anger.
As a competitive guy, he usually likes to rise above the rest. But this time Janelle Brown beat him to the punch. While Kody and Robyn sit in a multi-million-dollar estate, it is still a house not often visited by his ex-wives’ children.
But you can bet the farm (pun intended) that Janelle’s home will have a beaten path to her front door, made by the Sister Wives kids. So, while Kody’s dream is gone, Janelle Brown seems to be building her version of the dream, and she doesn’t have to wait for Kody Brown and Robyn Brown to make the move. They have no part in this new venture for the TLC series’ mom with a green thumb.
