Fans of the show suggest this is just one more example of Kody’s need to come off looking like a caring guy. Still, most didn’t buy it, and that seems to include Meri Brown.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Pats Himself on the Back
During a recent Sister Wives episode, Kody Brown painted a lovely verbal portrait of himself. The viewers thought he gave himself quite the pat on the back.
He seems to recall a comfortable night with Meri Brown after their legal divorce. Kody made it sound like he wanted things to be as usual with Meri Brown, despite their divorce proceedings earlier that day.
This divorce paved the way for Kody to marry Robyn Brown. Then, he seemed to remember sharing that night getting intimate with Meri Brown, who he had just divorced. But the Sister Wives patriarch made that night sound differently than what Meri remembers.
Meri Brown Chokes on Kody’s Recollection
Sister Wives celeb Kody Brown suggested how that night, with their legal marriage dissolved, he made love to her. But a distraught Meri remembers it differently than Kody’s report of a dinner and a roll in the hay.
Kody said, “Meri and I, after that divorce, left Robyn and went to dinner together. I gave her a special ring, and we probably went home and made love.”
Hearing this, ripped through Meri. She felt he wouldn’t dare talk about intimate moments with Robyn. But he had the gall to throw this out there about her. It became a double whammy for Meri, as she doesn’t remember it that way. She explained how during that time, intimacy was no longer part of their marriage. So, it sounds like Kody’s version didn’t happen.
Sister Wives: Meri Tells An Opposite Side of the Story
Meri Brown shared her disgust over Kody’s distorted story about that event. Kody recalls bedding down Meri the night they signed the divorce papers. But she said, “Kody and I were not in the kind of relationship at that time that we would be doing those kinds of things anyway.”
So, intimacy was not a consultation prize for Meri for clearing a path for Robyn to legally wed Kody. Meri explained that she and Kody were not acting much like a married couple before their legal divorce. But she was disgusted that he would even mention her in an intimate setting on the show.
“It’s kind of disgusting that he would bring up a potentially intimate moment with somebody that he’s divorced from,” She then said, “I can guaran-damn-tee you that he would never talk about those moments in this setting with his wife”.
So, there you have it, Kody Brown didn’t do Meri Brown any favors, and it sounds like she wants the viewers of her TLC series to know this today.
