Yellowjackets is unlike any other show, and if you try to describe it to someone, you sound like a crazy person. The story covers two time periods: 1996, when a girls’ soccer team is struggling to survive in the wilderness following a plane crash, and 2021, when the survivors have moved on with their lives but can’t escape what they did back then. The 1996 time period is straight-up horror involving cannibalism (not a spoiler, which means yes, it gets worse) and bizarre mysticism, while 2021 is more of a mystery.
