Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, Pop-Tarts Bowl Unveil Creative Field Designs – SportsLogos.Net News

Must read

While most bowl games simply place their logo at midfield and each team’s wordmark in the end zones, some postseason college football games go above and beyond when it comes to their field designs.

This year is no exception, as we’ve already seen the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl paint a treasure map in the end zone, complete with a pirate ship, sea creatures and a custom wordmark that featured a sword and pirate flag.

The newly sponsored Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl between Colorado State and Miami (Ohio) will also have a unique design during today’s game, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

It features the the 17-time Grammy Award-winning artist’s name in one end zone and the low rider that can be seen on the case of his new premium alcohol brand, Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, in the other end zone.

The field is complete with a bright orange out-of-bounds area from the 25-yard line in and behind the end zones, tying in the gradient subset design from the bowl game’s logo.

Elsewhere, the Pop-Tarts Bowl added a dash of flavor to its sidelines ahead of today’s game between Iowa State and Miami (Florida), which will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

The bowl games received permission from the NCAA to add a blue, light blue, orange and yellow sprinkles in the white sidelines, bringing to mind the breakfast pastry’s Frosted Confetti Cupcake flavor.

The end zones are more simple than the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, however, with the Hurricanes’ old Orange Bowl-inspired design in one end zone and the Cyclones’ basic wordmark in the other.
