With production underway, the main cast of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is now known. Peter Claffey, known for Harry Wild and Bad Sisters, will play Ser Duncan the Tall, while 9-year-old actor Dexter Sol Ansell will play his young squire Egg. The cast also includes Finn Bennet, Tanzyn Crawford, Daniel Ings, and Sam Spruell.
In addition to this casting information, it’s also been revealed who will be directing A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight. Writer and director Sarah Adina Smith, who has worked on shows like Legion and Hanna, will direct half of the six-episode season. The other half of the season will be directed by executive producer Owen Harris, whose other directing work includes Black Mirror and Misfits.Â
