The Rock to return to WWE before Roman Reigns to fix The Bloodline? Exploring the possibility

Must read

It appears Roman Reigns looks set to return to WWE before The Rock to sort out The Bloodline’s mess that has ensued under Solo Sikoa’s watch. The Tribal Chief has been absent since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania XL.

However, what if The Rock were to surprise the WWE Universe and be The Bloodline’s unlikely savior? The Final Boss has also been off TV since ‘Mania season after warning Cody Rhodes that he was coming for him when he returned.

Solo Sikoa has seemingly gone mad with power since taking temporary leadership of The Bloodline. There has been a huge overhaul, with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa replacing Jimmy Uso in the faction. The three-man faction has been wreaking havoc on WWE SmackDown ever since, and The Wiseman Paul Heyman has struggled to keep them under control.

The Rock could be the man to do the job and ensure The Bloodline is singing from the same hymn sheet. The Great One arguably overshadowed Roman Reigns heading into ‘Mania XL, and he could be the new leader of the group.

Dwayne Johnson, currently 52 years old, returned to Hollywood after warning Cody Rhodes he wanted his Undisputed WWE Championship. He’s filming The Smashing Machine and is expected to finish shooting the biopic about MMA fighter Mark Kerr in August.

This could tie in with Solo Sikoa taking on Cody Rhodes for the world title, given recent reports suggest he could soon be doing so. The Final Boss could return should The Tribal Heir fall to The American Nightmare, and could wage war against the 38-year-old.

The Rock’s WWE return could lead to a power struggle with Roman Reigns for leadership of The Bloodline

It would be hell on earth if The Rock were to return before Roman Reigns and take over leadership of The Bloodline. Reigns has always sat at the Head of the Table, and his cousin waltzing in and taking over could lead to a power struggle for the ages.

This issue was teased on the Road to WrestleMania XL when Reigns wanted Rock to acknowledge him. Tension rose between the pair during one of Bloodline’s promos, but The People’s Champion eventually abided.

The Rock may feel he must take over the stable, given Roman Reigns can’t be entrusted with the responsibility after losing the world title. His stock as the Stamford-based promotion’s biggest star took a knock when Cody Rhodes finished his story at ‘Mania.

The iconic duo could be embroiled in a fierce rivalry for leadership of The Bloodline, resulting in a main event at WrestleMania 41. They were supposed to lock horns at the Show of Shows this year, but fans backlash led to Rhodes challenging Reigns.
