There’s a lot of anticipation ahead of the release of the College Football 25 video game. Ahead of the unveiling on July 19, EA Sports released the list of 100 players with the highest overall ratings on Wednesday.

Here’s a look at how quarterbacks fared in the ratings.

Who are the top-ranked QBs in EA Sports College Football 25?

Shedeur Sanders is the highest-rated quarterback in College Football 25. The Colorado signal-caller has an overall rating of 93, ranking as the 17th highest-rated player in the game.

Sanders had a brilliant season at Colorado in 2023 despite the evident struggles of the program. It was his first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision after following his father down to Boulder from Jackson State. He threw for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns last season.

Carson Beck closely follows Shedeur Sanders. The Georgia player boasts a 93 rating, the same as Sanders, and ranks as the No. 18 highest-rated player after his successful first season as the Bulldogs quarterback.

Texas’ Quinn Ewers, who featured on the cover of the game, is the third highest-rated quarterback. Ewers has a 92 rating following his exploits in leading the Longhorns to the Big 12 championship and an appearance in the College Football Playoff.

Dillon Gabriel takes fourth place among quarterbacks in College Football 25, with a 92 rating. The Oregon signal-caller had a superb season at Oklahoma in 2023 before transferring to Oregon this offseason.

Alabama’s Jalen Milroe wrapped up the top five highest-rated quarterbacks in the upcoming video game. He started the 2023 slowly but eventually upped his game as the season progressed. He has a rating of 90.

According to the list released by EA Sports on Wednesday, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson ranks as the highest-rated player in College Football 25 with an overall rating of 96.

LSU’s offensive lineman Will Campbell and Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon, who led the nation in rushing last season, also have ratings of 96.

Tennessee defensive end James Pearce Jr. holds the No. 4 position in the rankings with a 95 rating. Ohio State defensive back Caleb Downs, who played his freshman season at Alabama, wraps up the top five highest-rated players in the game.
